Professional Assault Crisis Training (Pro-ACT®)

Professional Assault Crisis Training, Pro-ACT®, is a workshop for professionals who work with individuals whose behavioral challenges are sometimes manifested in assault. Pro-ACT consists of 16 hours (2 days) of lecture and practical training. The emphasis is on principles to problem-solve potentially dangerous situations and avoid restraint. This training also covers topics that include: Approach, Problem-solving, Emergency Response, Individual Differences, Teamwork & Rights. Employees are required to obtain certification within the first 3 months of employment and to recertify every 3 years.
